THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
When I was first saved at the age of 11, my Dad taught me to pray.
He said, "You can pray for anything."
I prayed for a horse, but didn't get one. So I told Dad about it. He said, "God always answers: yes, no, or wait awhile."
I was thinking about that as a young boy.
So, I decided to stop praying for a horse.
Because I might be in my 50's when I got it, and I'd be too old to ride.

The child of God, surrendered to Jesus as Lord, is "accepted" in Christ!
Yes, child of God, He loves you THAT much!
He, by Whom all things exist, has endowed His children with acceptance into His presence.
There is no time when you cannot come to Him!
There is no purpose for which you cannot plead with Him!
This should certainly encourage the frequency and deepness of your prayers!
You are greatly LOVED!
Though you lived in sin and for sin's purpose, He called you by grace!
He convicted you of sinfulness by His Spirit and Word!
He convinced you of His saving power!
And when you repented, He helped you in commitment with His strength!
He purchased you with His own blood!
By His power in you, He raised you from the deadness of sins to the liveliness of His love!
And He has set you in "heavenly places" (Ephesians 2:6)!
And Christ is "able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think, according to the power that is within us!" (Ephesians 3:20)
You are GREATLY "beloved" in Christ!
Therefore, "come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16)
Love ya,
Bruce
