Luke 15:17-20
17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

How many of us have been "prodigal sons?" ALL of us!
Many of us thought when we were teens that we could handle the world really easy! Sure, we could make choices. But we could not determine the consequences of those choices.
Maybe even today you are suffering because of bad choices. Perhaps you are caught in a backwash flood of bad choices.
Last week I met a man who had been raised in church, yet made some bad choices. He finally "came to himself," and asked God to help him. He had made a wreck of his life trying to run it himself, and had forgotten to let God be in charge of his life.
When he turned to the Lord, this man found that God was right there waiting to help; ready to bless in unimaginable ways.
Now the man has 4 children, and a good job. He has begun a jail ministry to tell others of how a "prodigal son" can return to the Father!
When you get down to nothing but yourself, don't SELL yourself. Instead GIVE yourself to the Father! He can change things - He can change YOU!
