Maylene was visiting with Adelle. Adelle was known ‘round the community as “the cat lady.” She had 9 cats in her house.

Maylene noticed that Adelle had 9 different little “kitty doors” cut in the wall. She asked, “Why do you have so many ‘kitty doors?’ Can’t the cats all use ONE door?”

Adelle said, “Well, you hafta understand. When I say ‘scat,’ I mean SCAT!” And when she said that, 9 cats scampered through their respective doors!

The TRUTH of the above story is that when Adelle exercised authority things HAPPENED!

The TRUTH of the above Scripture is that when righteous people rule GOOD things happen, and when Unrighteous people rule BAD things happen.

In any exercise of authority, things happen. For instance, when Saddam Hussein was in control of Iraq:

  1. Food was withheld to control the public,
  2. Gendarme tactics kept fear in the people,
  3. Television was limited, and satellite dishes were unheard of,
  4. Oil was sold for personal profit and didn’t benefit the nation, Health care was a disgrace,
  5. Those who defied the authority of the king were found in mass graves.

However, it is quite a different story in Iraq nowadays.

  1. Electric power generation now stands at 4,518 megawatts – exceeding the pre-war average,
  2. By October 1, coalition forces had rehabilitated over 1,500 schools - 500 more than planned,
  3. Teachers earn from 12 to 15 times their previous salaries,
  4. All 240 hospitals and some 1,200 clinics are now fully operational,
  5. Pharmaceutical distribution has gone from 700 tons in May, 2003 to 12,000 tons currently,
  6. Iraqi banks are loaning money to finance independent businesses,
  7. Over 170 newspapers are flourishing,
  8. And satellite dishes can be bought almost ANYWHERE!

God’s TRUTH still stands! It will stand for ETERNITY!

THE “Righteous” One shall rule in heaven, and there will be an eternity of peace, love and joy. While the UNrighteous shall rule in hell, and there will be “weeping an gnashing of teeth” forever.

Let us stand with the “righteous” and watch as “good” things happen!
