He asked the guide, "Is it true that the animals will not bother you if you carry a torch?”

In his book, "Our Character Our Future," Alan Keyes tells about a gang shooting in Los Angeles.
A certain Wayne Capers was killed by a rival gang while sitting on a bench in Denker Park.
However, a stray bullet also killed King Clark, who was seventy-three.
Mr. Clark was sitting in his living room preparing for a Bible study class.
Gangs have become "wicked rulers" in many neighborhoods.
People are suffering because illegal weapons are used by immoral people in a show of power.
Drugs are being sold to children and young people.
In 1967, the Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) provided a grant of almost $1 million to work with rival gangs in Chicago on a job training program.
Nicolas Lemann reported in his book "The Promised Land" that "in the history of the OEO, there was not grant that was as complete a failure.”
Rehabilitation without rejuvenation through salvation is an impossibility!
The heart of the problem is the problem of the heart!
Man is "desperately wicked" (Jeremiah 17:9), and must be changed from the inside out!
Let's just face it: It's a JUNGLE out there!
And the only way to change it is to change the creatures.
ONLY Jesus can do that!
In order to change America, even the problem of gangs, the Gospel of Jesus needs to be preached by Christians.
The most effective answer to the disintegration of our country is a matter of obedience by Christians!
