THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
A ticket agent explained one of the calls he received about plane tickets.
"I got a call from a staff member of a political candidate.
The staff member wanted to go to Cape Town ...
I started to explain the length of the flight and the passport information, and then she interrupted me with,
''I'm not trying to make you look stupid, but Cape Town is in Massachusetts..''**
Without trying to make her look stupid, I calmly explained, Cape Cod is in Massachusetts,
Cape Town is in Africa."

Psalm 46
4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

One day we'll take a flight to the "holy place of the tabernacles of the most High" God.
I hope you already have your "ticket," a real personal relationship with the Pilot, our Lord Jesus Christ.
The place to which we shall take our flight is the New Jerusalem, the "city of God."
In that city the river of life runs. This makes the city beautiful and it supplies strength to all who are there.
One day, all those who are saved shall go there and dwell forever.
Yet, even today there is a city similar to that. It is like Jerusalem was to the Israelites of the Old Testament. Today, it is the CHURCH!
In the church runs the "river" which makes it beautiful and supplies strength to all who come there. That river is God Himself, for He "is in the midst of her."
He is the "God of Jacob."
He is also the God of the cross and the empty tomb!
He is EMMANUEL, "God with us!"
Love ya,
Bruce
