THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
A physician dreamed he went to heaven and met Jesus.
Jesus told him, since he was there, God would grant him the answer to one question.
The physician thought carefully. Then he asked, "Lord, will health care reform ever really happen?"
Jesus said, "Well, there is good news and bad news. The answer is YES, but not in your lifetime."

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

God begins the work of salvation in each of us.
1st He convicts us of sin,
2nd He convinces us of Jesus as our Savior,
3rd He calls us to commitment to Jesus as Lord of our lives.
God continues the work of salvation in each of us.
1st He continues to convict us of sin,
2nd He calls us to daily confession of the same,
3rd He compels us to continue in the ways of Christ.
God completes the work of salvation in each of us.
1st He is returning. (See 1Thessalonians 4:16-17)
2nd He is going to judge all mankind. (See Revelation 20:11-12)
3rd He will acquit those who have surrendered to Jesus!
To them, He will say, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant. Enter into the JOY of thy LORD!” (Matthew 25:21)
Two things about this wonderful process of salvation:
1st - If you are in the continuing phase, you already have assurance of the beginning, and the eternal hope of the end!
2nd - Those in the continuing phase are being compelled by Christ to TELL OTHERS of God's wonderful salvation!
Love ya,
