THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Husband to wife, "You're constantly nagging me about my playing golf. You're driving me nuts!"
Wife, "No, honey. That's not a drive; it's just a short putt!"

Luke 11:27-28
27 And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.
28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
KJV

The woman in the crowd above, knew that Mary was "highly favoured" (Luke 1:28) to have been the bearer of Christ.
Mary also knew God had given her a special place. And we can tell from her song "The Magnificat" Luke 1:46-48 which begins:
46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
KJV
Certainly, it was an awe-inspiring thing for Mary to have borne and to rear the Christ Child. Yet, even with the intimacy of being the mother of Jesus, she appears, in the Gospels, to have no more knowledge of her Savior than the disciples.
It is also an awe-inspiring miracle for Jesus to be born in us! For when we surrender to Him as Lord, He comes to reside in us! As He takes up residence in our being, He shows us "all things that I have heard of my Father" (John 15:15)!
Jesus, upon hearing the woman's announcment above, said "Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it."
Later He would say, "If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love;" (John 15:10)
All of Jesus, that we can know upon this earth, is revealed in the Bible.
Through Bible study and prayer, you can have as intimate a knowledge of Him as Mary!
Indeed, "blessed" are we to have the Bible, which is "The Revelation of Jesus Christ" (Revelation 1:1)!!
Let us read, study and learn that we might have a better relationship with our Lord!
Love ya,
Bruce
