THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
The wealthy millionaire was getting older. He decided to preserve some of his funds for the after-life.
He told his family, "I'm putting a trunk full of money in the attic. When I die, I'll grab it on my way to heaven."
A few months later the man died. His wife went to check the attic. The trunk was still there.
She said, "That old nut! I TOLD him he should put that in the BASEMENT!"

Hab 2:12-16
12 Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity!
13 Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity?
14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
15 Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness!
16 Thou art filled with shame for glory: drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the LORD's right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy glory.

To build anything "in blood" means to build it in guilt, or by sin. A person's fame, an organization's power, or a nation's preemminence built upon sin shall surely be "vanity." This type of "labour" will be vain and useless. Eventually it will be burned in the "fire" of God's wrath!
To utilize a person's propensity to sin in order to further self, business, or government is building "in blood!" By shameful acts and practices, the power-hungry will bring humiliation to any who stand in their way. These actions produce "nakedness" (or helplessness) to others.
God condemns these actions and makes known that those who practice such will be consumed by their own guiltiness. They will stand before the Lord and receive "the cup of the LORD'S right hand."
This is not only an indication of the final judgment. It is also the manner by which God controls the "rise and fall" of nations throughout history.
The establishment of revenues based upon people's propensity to gambling, is building "in blood!"
PRAY FOR OUR NATION!!
