THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
A small group of people met for church, and suddenly found themselves in the middle of a violent hurricane. The church began to quiver and shake with the strong winds. The pastor called for prayer.
One elderly gentleman began to pray: "Oh, Lord send us the Spirit of the children of Israel, the children of Moses, the children of the promised land."
Another man picked up the prayer, "Oh, Lord don't send nobody! Come Yourself! This ain't no time for children!"

The Bible is the revelation of Jesus Christ. The Bible tells of God coming in Person to this earth.
He came to show sinners His love.
He came to offer the perfect sacrifice for sins.
He came to show the power of God in the resurrection.
He came to show that He would come AGAIN!
He came to put His Holy Spirit in every believer. Truly, anyone who thirst for REAL LIFE may come and drink of the "waters" of Christ freely! He exempts no one from the joys of salvation. The liar, the thief, the gossip, the drunk, the drug addict, the murderer -- all, ALL may be saved!
And all who are saved have the witness of God's Holy Spirit within them that He's coming again! He's coming to "judge and make war." He's coming to vanquish evil and "rule and reign" upon the earth for 1,000 years. He's coming to take His people with Him to an eternal heaven where there'll be no sorrow, crying, sickness or death ever again.
Surely, the saints of God cry, "COME! LORD JESUS!"
Because of that hope placed within us, we can sing:
"We'll Work 'Till Jesus Comes!"
