THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
A little girl had been in Sunday School class when the teacher was talking about how Jesus had risen from the tomb, ascended to heaven and was now sitting at the right hand of God.
Later that evening, she and her mom were sitting on the porch when there was a beautiful rainbow. Mom called it to her attention, and said "Look what a beautiful rainbow God painted in the sky."
The little girl said, "And just think, He had to paint it with his left hand."
Mom asked, "Why do you say that honey?"
Little girl, "'Cause Jesus is sitting on His right hand."

Eph 1:19-20
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

Recently we saw the effects of a powerful hurricane.
Perhaps you've seen pictures of the power of an atomic bomb.
There are some powerful things in this world.
But NOTHING is as powerful as God IN a person!
The resurrection of Christ from the tomb was a display of Divine power.
The resurrection of a sinner from death to life in God is also a display of Divine power.
All the sin of a man's life cannot stop the hand of God in redemption. His power is irrisistible! When a sinner begs forgiveness from God, and surrenders his life to Christ as Lord, God's power CHANGES him!
All the demons of hell cannot stop the power of God in redemption. His power is irrefutable. When a sinner genuinely surrenders to Christ, God's power releases that person from the chains of the devil.
Time and eternity cannot stop the power of God in redemption. His power is everlasting. When we surrender to Christ, we are given ETERNAL LIFE!
That power which raised Christ from the dead also "quickens" (or makes alive) our bodies to live for Him!
We are raised from the deadness of sin by the power of God.
We are raised from the darkness of death by the power of God.
We are raised to live in newness of life by the power of God.
To whom does this power apply? To those who "believe!"
Connect to God's power in you today. Believe and pray.
Love ya,
Bruce
