THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

A long time ago, the train station had a "gatekeeper." His job was to get all passengers to show their tickets before they could enter the depot gate. If they didn't have tickets they had to go and purchase them.
One fellow observed that the gatekeeper was always smiling. He said, "Sir, you seem to be happy, even though the people are not very fond of you."
The gatekeeper looked upward at the floor above him. He said, "Sir, my superior is up there watching me. I am pleasing him, and that's all that matters."

Col 3:11
11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all , and in all.

God loves His church. He provides the BEST for the members of His church.
God provides us with ONENESS. Though we may be of different origins in the world, God makes us all ONE in Christ. Because Christ is "in all" of us, we are accepted before God.
Remember the children's song? "Red and yellow, black and white, They are precious in His sight." No matter our nationality, color, social position, handicap, or anything else, Christ is "in all" of us when we are saved. And THAT is what makes us precious to God.
What else shall we need to be accepted before God? Christ is ALL!
We are redeemed by the blood of Christ.
We are indwelt by the Spirit of Christ.
We are taught by the Word of Christ.
We are kept unto the final day by the power of Christ. Christ is ALL!
What else shall we need of the world? Christ is ALL!
There is a story about Chrysostom who was a church leader during the days of the Roman empire. When he stood before the Roman Emporer, he was threatened.
The emporer said, "If you continue to profess Christianity, I will banish you."
Chrysostom said, "You cannot, all the world is my Father's house. You cannot banish me."
The emporer said, "Then I will slay you."
Chrysostom said, "You cannot, for my life is hid with Christ in God."
The emporer said, "I will drive you away from men. You will have no friend left."
Chrysostom said, "You cannot. I have a Friend in heaven from Whom you cannot separate me!"
When we are "in Christ" we are accepted by God and have peace in our souls. We have no need of MORE because CHRIST IS ALL!
Love ya,
