THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
A man from Texas was visiting Chicago and went to a restaraunt. He ordered a large t-bone steak.
The waiter brought his steak, and it was so rare, the blood was draining out of it.
The Texan demanded that it be taken back and cooked.
The waiter said, "But, sir. It IS cooked."
The Texan said, "Huh! I've seen cows hurt worse than that get up and get goin'!"

We are all sinners all the time. And unless our Savior comes again before our time, we shall all reap the "wages of sin" -- death.
But the purpose of Christians today is to celebrate the LIFE that Christ gives us. Jesus assured the world that eternal life is given through surrender to Him. "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me." (Luke 9:23)
God knows we are helpless because of our sin. But God has made sure that we are not hopeless!
Jesus is indeed "the blessed hope!" (Titus 2:13)
He is "Christ Jesus our hope!" (1Timothy 1:1).
And "THE hope of glory" is "Christ in YOU!" (Colossians 1:27 above).
And the hope of Christ is an ANCHOR to the soul. Heb 6:19 says,"Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul."
