THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
A driver did the right thing, stopping at the school crosswalk even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection. The tailgating woman behind him went ballistic, pounding on her horn and screaming in frustration as she missed her chance to drive through the intersection with him. Still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer.
The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up. He took her to the police station where she was searched, fingerprinted, photographed and placed in a cell. After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects.
He said, "I'm awfully sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping the guy off in front of you, and cussing a blue streak at him I noticed the What Would Jesus Do" license plate holder; "Follow me to Sunday School" bumper sticker; Chrome plated Christian fish emblem on the trunk and "Boss is a Jewish Carpenter"decal on your back window.......
Naturally, I assumed you had stolen the car."

Gen 8:1-4
1 And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged;
2 The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;
3 And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.
4 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
KJV

It was the END of the earth as Noah had remembered it. The plant life was preserved, but everything else was gone. All the people, all the animals - GONE!
But God REMEMBERED Noah, and all that were with him in the ark. God remembered Noah because of the commitment he had made to God. He had BELIEVED God and had built the ark. He had BELIEVED God and entered the ark.
And God SAVED Noah! He saved Noah and all his family, and all the animals in the ark.
And God placed Noah on a NEW land; a land undefiled by human sin.
One day, God is going to put a permanent END to this earth as we know it. And God is going to have a NEW place for people to live. That place will be perfect, and undefiled by human sin.
Rev 21:1-2
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem , coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
KJV
Those who have made a commitment to Christ and ENTERED His saving power will be there in that New Jerusalem. And there will be no more "sea," or separation from God. He will be there personally to live with His saved people. And we will KNOW Him as He IS!
It's gonna be a WONDERFUL DAY!!
Have you made your commitment to Christ and entered His saving power?
Are you helping others come to that commitment and enter His saving power?
Love ya,
Bruce
