THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

Did you ever wonder why there are no dead penguins on the ice in Antarctica - where do they go?

Wonder no more!!!

It is a known fact that the penguin is a very ritualistic bird which lives an extremely ordered and complex life.

The penguin is very committed to its family and will mate for life, as well as maintaining a form of compassionate contact with its offspring throughout its life.

If a penguin is found dead on the ice surface, other members of the family and social circle have been known to dig holes in the ice, using their vestigial wings and beaks, until the hole is deep enough for the dead bird to be rolled into and buried.

The male penguins then gather in a circle around the fresh grave and sing:

"freeze a jolly good fellow."

Hey ..... I don't make them up.
I just send them on !!!

THOUGHT________________________________________________

We are all suffering from the disease of sin!

But we have a wonderful Savior Who desires to HEAL us from our deadly disease.

He will FORGIVE "all thine iniquities!"
And He will, one day, HEAL "all thy diseases!"

Most doctors specialize.
Each of them study more about a certain disease, and apply themselves to helping people with that certain disease.

But our Great Physician, Jesus, is totally familiar with the whole of the human body AND with the whole of human nature!
And, He is willing to forgive our sin and heal our whole soul!

The only thing He asks in return, is that we surrender to Him as Lord and let Him lead us in this short physical life.
Then, He will take us into ETERNAL LIFE where He will heal us totally!

There is no wondering where humans go when they die if they die "in Christ!"

Love ya,
Bruce
