THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
R.G. LeTourneau, owner of a large earth-moving equipment company, told this story.
"We used to have a scraper known as the model "G." Somebody asked our salesman one day what the "G" stood for. The salesman, after thinking for a few seconds, replied, 'Well, I guess the "G" stands for gossip, because like gossip, this machine moves a lot of dirt and moves it fast.'"

Jude 17-18
17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

_______THOUGHT__________________________________________________________
Jesus warned of "false prophets" who would arise and "deceive many" (Matthew 24:11).
The apostles also warned of the same (2Peter 2:1, 1John 4:1).
These "false prophets" are heretics and "mockers...who ....walk after their own ungodly lusts." (verse 18 above)
Today, we see this happening everywhere.
Television shows make a mockery of Christians and morality.
Newspapers and magazines try to cast doubt on Christian faith and values.
Congress even passes laws which oppose Godly truths.
But we, who are given to Christ, are to "remember" the words of our Lord and the apostles.
This is a case for studying and learning the Bible.
This is a case for knowing the TRUTH in order to spot the counterfeit!
And, this is a case for boldly "speaking the truth in love." (Ephesians 4:15)
Don't let society convince you of weakness because of your meekness!
Meekness, or self-discipline, results in boldness when it is necessary!
In order to remove dirt thrown, we need clean speakers!
Love ya,
Bruce
