THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
<><><><><>
A backwoods Louisiana man was talking to his friend. He said, "You know my son joined the army."
His friend said, "Yes. How's he doin'?"
The man said, "Well, right now he's gettin' some discipline 'cause he took a furlong."
His friend said, "You mean furlough."
The man said, "Naw! He went too fur and stayed too long!"

Ps 51:10
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Even though we are saved by the grace of God through faith in Christ Jesus, we must admit we are still sinners
(Romans 3:23). And we need REVIVAL every day!
God has a plan for revival in our hearts. God desires to:
Revive us daily. 1John 1:9 tells us that IF we'll come confessing our sins, God is willing to FORGIVE our sins.
Renew us Scripturally. Romans 12:2 tells us that God wants to renew our minds through study of His Word.
Restore our zeal for God. Psalm 42:1-2 reflects the attitude of a Christian when he/she is revived and renewed.
"1As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.
2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?"
God has a plan for revival in our hearts as long as we don't take a FURLONG!
Love ya,

Revival is a spiritual attitude from God given to those who are submissive to Him.
