THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

Hmmmm....my "wake-up" time seems to be getting earlier and earlier.

The old saying must be true:
Just when you get old enough to sleep late, you wake up early!

Jesus arose early and entered the temple.
The people arose early and came to hear Jesus teach.
So, what's wrong with rising early?

It is a special and wonderful time of the day.
Most folk aren't awake, and it is quiet.
God is always awake, and we can come to Him in prayer.
We can also study His Word and hear Him teaching our hearts.

1 Cor 3:16 says, "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?"

The wonderful thing about God is: He's ALWAYS awake!
So, whether you rise early in the morning, or stay up late at night; He's always available in your "temple!"

You may be an "early riser," or you may be a "night owl."
Just know that Jesus is always there in your "quiet place."
He's ready to hear you pray.
He's ready to help you learn as you study His Word.

These things help us maintain a special "communion" with God.

Love ya,
Bruce
