THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
I like preachers who follow the example of a good washing machine.
It washes a heavy load of clothes in 20 minutes.
Then, it spins itself dry, and turns OFF!

The term "election" appears several times in the New Testament, Rom 9:11; 11:5,7,28; 1 Thess 1:4; 2 Peter 1:10.
That particular word describes the fact that salvation is offered by God's grace and calling. God elects, or determines, or decides, to call us into His marvelous grace. We didn't deserve it, but God chose to offer salvation!
Christian, aren't you glad that God chose to CALL you?
If He hadn't called, you would not have known about your sinfulness and need for a Savior.
If He hadn't called, you would not have known about Christ paying the debt for your sin in His own blood.
Eternal salvation was offered by love, mercy and grace.
God elected to offer His salvation to you and me!
Let us elect to not only receive, but to serve this loving God!
Love ya,
Bruce
