THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

<><><><><>

A young bride took her husband's check to the cashier at the bank. She wanted to cash it. The teller told her, "You will need an endorsement on the check."

So she wrote, "My husband is a wonderful man" on the back of the check and gave it back to the teller.

Ps 9:1-2
1 I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. 2 I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
(KJV)

We were created to be friends to God and to bring Him pleasure through our friendship.

Praise certainly brings God pleasure. Praise is giving an "endorsement" to God's goodness.

Praise not only pleases God, but it awakens our sense of God's closeness.

Praise God for what He has done: He has brought salvation to your soul.

Praise God for what He is doing: He is keeping you close to Him through sanctification of His Spirit.

Praise God for what He shall do: He shall bring us to glory, where we'll live eternally with Him in perfect purity.

Praise Him and give Him pleasure. Praise Him and awaken the sense of His closeness in you.

Love ya,
