THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
A lady was visiting a local artist's exhibition.
She came to an abstract painting and asked, "MY! What IS this?"
The artist happened to hear the question.
He said, "Ma'am, that's supposed to be a woman and her child."
The lady asked, "Well, why ISN'T it?"

2 Tim 1:9
9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

What a glorious Savior is Jesus "Who hath saved us!"
TODAY the person surrendered to Christ IS saved!
Life has CHANGED! (2Corinthians 5:17)
Those surrendered to Christ are "washed... in His own blood" (2Peter 2:22).
We are "sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise." (Ephesians 1:13)
We have been given "faith" (Ephesians 2:8).
Our names are "written in the Lamb's book of life." (Revelation 21:27)
To the Christian, salvation is not a hope to be attained;
It is a fact already accomplished in and by our Lord, Jesus!
And He "hath saved us" for a "purpose:" to give us "an holy calling."
That purpose is to live with "Christ in you" (Colossians 1:27).
Our joy is to forsake sin and cling to the Savior.
Our fulfillment is to tell others of the Glorious God, Who "gave Himself a ransom" for ALL men (1Timothy 2:6).
Today, may we truly exhibit the realness that Christ "hath saved us!"
Love ya,
Bruce
