THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
At some of the larger golf courses, "caddies" are required.
Here's some of the comments made by golfers to caddies, and some of their replies.
Golfer: "Please stop checking your watch all the time. It's too much of
a distraction."
Caddy: "It's not a watch - it's a compass."
Golfer: "This is the worst course I've ever played on."
Caddy: "This isn't the golf course. We left that an hour ago."
Golfer: "Do you think it's a sin to play on Sunday?"
Caddy: "The way you play, sir, it's a sin on any day."

John 1:35-42
35 Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;
36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!
37 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.
38 Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?
39 He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.
40 One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew , Simon Peter's brother.
41 He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.
42 And he brought him to Jesus.

Last night we began the Evangelism Extravaganza at Crockett Point Baptist in Crowville, Louisiana. Monday through Wednesday of this week, several music evangelists and preaching evangelists will be there. I heard three tremendous sermons! Great music too!
In one of those sermons, the evangelist touched on the Scripture above.
First, Andrew heard John the Baptist say that Jesus was "the Lamb of God" prophesied by Abraham (Gen. 22:8).
Second, Andrew "followed Jesus." He gave up being who he was in order to find out who Jesus was. And WHEN he found out....
Third, Andrew became a witness! "He first findeth his own brother Simon," and told him that Jesus was the long-awaited "Messiah!"
Andrew's witness brought Peter to Jesus.
This is what happens to each Christian.
First, we hear about Jesus.
Then, we follow Him, and come to know Him.
Then, we tell others about Him!
The incredible thing about having Christ in you, is that His story must come out of you!
Without revival in the saved, there'll be very little repentance unto salvation of the lost!
For "...faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God!"
Exhibit your salvation by being a witness!
Love ya,
Bruce
