THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

During a visit to the mental asylum, I asked the Director how you determine whether or not a patient should be institutionalized.

"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub and then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub."

"Oh, I understand," I said. "A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup."

No." said the Director, "A normal person would pull the plug. Do you want a bed near the window?"

THOUGHT_____________________________________________________________

Sometimes a day may bring enough problems that ya just wanna pull your hair out and run around in circles!

Today just might be that kind of day for you, dear believer.

Remember to Whom you should run!
And, just because there is trouble abounding - do not FLEE!

We are but sheep. And we tend to run when the wolf shows up.
Let us remember we have been forewarned of difficulties.
John 15:20
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you;

As you face the difficulties of this day, remember to be in a prayerful attitude.
Also remember God's promise: "I will NEVER leave thee, nor forsake thee." (Heb. 13:5)

Then, face the day with FAITH and not with FLEEING!

Love ya,
Bruce
