THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

At 650mph and 30,000 feet, the stewardess says you're free to roam about the plane.

But, when taxiing to the runway at 1mph, she says to remain in your seat for your own safety.

When my wife was about to take her first flight, the captain was standing at the door.
She said, "You will bring us down safely won't you?"
He said, "Don't worry, Ma'am. I've never left anyone up there yet."

We never know what life may bring in any day.
When we are experiencing the unknown in life, God is our support.
His "everlasting arms" of faith hold us securely.

The struggles of life may sometimes bring us low.
But God's support is "everlasting."

Sin and shame may humiliate us.
But His faithful presence calls us into His care by prayerful confession.

We may become weary in doing our service for Christ.
But His never-failing strength is our "refuge" and help.

And, when we Christians, sinful failures all, shall face Christ at the judgment seat;
He Himself shall cast our "accuser" away!

Today, my Christian friends, face life with the assurance that God's "refuge and ...
everlasting arms" are you strength and joy.

Love ya,
Bruce
