As most of you know, I very rarely quote only portions of Scripture as I did above.
However, this phrase has a tremendous meaning.
Our "hope" is SECURED in Christ Jesus.
He Who created all things, came in person to make atonement for our sins.
Therefore, our eternal "hope" is STORED and awaiting us "in heaven."
Our "hope" in Christ is IMMORTAL.
He who died for us was resurrected, and eternally lives - granting us immortality.
Best of all, our "hope" in Christ is PRESENT.
The security of our future in Christ, helps us cope with the difficulties of the present.
Nothing in this world can "separate us from the love of Christ" (Rom. 8:35, 39).
So, as you travel through this world today and experience the "bloopers" of life; remember that you have FOUNDATIONAL HOPE in Christ!
Love ya,
Bruce
