THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

((Well, it has been a little over a month since the last devotion was e-mailed. The surgery was successful - praise God! My arms are still weak, and the knot in my throat is not quite gone. But the Dr. said last Thursday that everything was looking really good! He also confined me to the house for another month, but I am able to go and preach on Sundays and Wednesdays.
The main thing I praise God for, is that the pain which was so bad is all gone! Thank you for your prayers, cards, calls and visits! ))

As you walk up the steps to the Capitol Building which houses the Supreme Court you can see, near the top of the building, a row of the world's law givers. Each one is facing one in the middle who is facing forward with a full frontal view - it is Moses and the Ten Commandments!
As you enter the Supreme Court courtroom, the two huge oak doors have the Ten Commandments engraved on each lower portion of each door. As you sit inside the courtroom, you can see the wall right above where the Supreme Court judges sit. On that wall is a display of the Ten Commandments!

Ps 11:1-4

It is a terrible injustice that some judges have determined the courtroom should be void of God's Word. Our forefathers didn't believe that, and neither should we.
Some people suggest that we Christians should just "shut up," and "go away," as some did with David in verse 1 above. The world has not changed much! The "bow and arrow" of wickedness is aimed at righteousness (verse 2) even today!
The foundations of the earth and universe are the creative WORD of God!
The foundations of truth, justice and liberty are the WORD of God!
What can we do, when people try to destroy the "foundations?" (verse 3)
We can PRAY! We can turn to the Lord and beg His DELIVERANCE! (verse 4)
God still sits on the throne! He IS still the eternal God, and the JUDGE of all the earth! He IS still in control of all circumstances!
Pray today that God, in His omnipotent sovereignty, will restore truth, justice and liberty in the courts of America!
