I've found that some days you can shoot well on a golf course and "bring it to its knees." But other days, that same golf course will have you on your knees! Billy Graham once said, "I've found that God answers my prayers anywhere...except on the golf course!"
We can do nothing of any good without Christ (John 15:5).
We must remember that whatever we have is a gift from God. And whatever we have earned is by the grace of God.
Sometimes we get a little "cocky" concerning our abilities. When we are doing well, we should remember it is not just our power and ability that causes us to be successful. It is God's power working within us.
God is constantly working in ways we don't see. His desire is to give us the best for our lives.
God has a purpose for giving us the ability to gain. That purpose is to work out HIS plan in our life to bring Him glory. Another part of God's plan is to benefit others by blessing us.
