THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
It had been raining several days, and my yard needed mowing.
A fella rang my doorbell.
I noticed his truck outside had a trailer attached.
On the trailer was all kinds of lawn mowing, trimming equipment.
He handed me a card, and said he could mow my yard each week for $___.
I looked at the card.
It said, “LAWN SPECIALIST.”
Hmmm...when I was a kid, we were called:
“YARD BOYS!”

2 Cor 5:18-21
18 Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,
19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

Do high sounding titles sometimes make you do a “double-take?”
Some business cards utilize very important-looking titles.
It seems that the longer the title, the less important the job.
As Christians, the “ministry of reconciliation” is given to us!
We are indeed “ambassadors for Christ!”
God’s plan is to make “an appeal through us” to the world.
It is our joy to plead with people to “be reconciled to God” by surrendering to Christ.
How’s that job title doing for ya?
What if every time you handed someone your business card, it read "AMBASSADOR FOR CHRIST"?
Would your actions be in symmetry with the title?
Love ya,
Bruce
