THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

Recently a sign appeared on the water cooler of a large manufacturing concern.
"Due to the inflation and other rising costs, the water in this cooler is now twice as free as it used to be."

11 Thou crownest the year with thy goodness;

How often we should pause and remind ourselves of God's "goodness" toward us!
All year, every day, all day, God is blessing us. Like a river, God's love is inexhaustible, and continues to send goodness toward us. It is His nature!
The atmosphere is constantly around us to support our breathing.
The sun is above us everyday to give us light and warmth.
After the sun goes down, the moon and stars remind us of God's presence and love.
Rivers and lakes are filled with fish for food.
Just meditate a moment on the fullness of God's "goodness."
His Word reminds us of His mercy, to give us life when we chose death.
His Spirit reminds us of our need for Him, because we're nothing in ourselves.
His people remind us of His power to change lives.
As harvest time begins in this season, we should remember that the "goodness" of God is for our daily reaping. And this should bring forth thanksgiving in our hearts.
Let us, with the psalmist, give thanks to our Lord for His "goodness"!
Love ya,
Bruce
