THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
On Christmas morning a woman told her husband, “I just dreamed that you gave me a beautiful diamond necklace. What do you think it means?”
“You’ll know tonight,” he said.
That evening just before opening presents, the husband came home with a small package and gave it to his wife.
Delighted, she opened it only to find a book entitled “The Meaning of Dreams.”

Matt 11:28-30
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

In the darkest hour of humanity, when men would crucify God instead of listen to Him, Jesus came with a message of GRACE: "Come unto me ...and ye shall find rest unto your souls."
From that hour to this, Jesus is still calling with the same message of grace! We are saved "by grace," and that grace is of the Lord Jesus Christ. He met us on our road to hell, and asked us to do a u-turn!
To the lost sinner, He is calling: come "out of darkness and into His marvelous light." (1Peter 2:9)
To the saved sinner, He is calling: "Come unto me," grow, learn, and find peace (vss 29-30 above).
From the moment you are born again, until the moment you are ushered into His eternal glory, Jesus is calling "Come unto me!" He will always be ahead of you, calling you into prepared places. He will always be beside you, holding your hand, and mending your heart when the way is rough.
We are saved "through faith," and that is why we are to follow Him! Yet, even our faith is His "gift!" Were it not for His constant closeness, and continual bidding to "Come unto me," we would not be saved!
And when, finally, we leave this world and enter that of the New Jerusalem, it will still be by the call of the Lord: "Come, ye blessed of my Father..." (Matt. 25:34).
He is calling now, do you hear Him?
He is calling by grace.
He is calling in grace.
He is calling us to grace.
Listen and follow.
Love ya,
Bruce
