THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

I'm sorry that the last two days there were no devotions sent out.

Ann was in the hospital.

The good news is: they found out she really does have a heart,
and it is funtioning well.

About 4 years ago, Ann began to have pre-atrial contractions in her heart. A heart medication was prescribed. The purpose of that medication was to relax the heart in normal rhythm, and keep the "butterfly" beating from happening.

However, one of the side-effects of that particular medication caused her blood pressure to be abnormally low. This resulted in her having very little energy. She has lived with that for about 4 years.

In January, Ann met with the doctor again. She complained of not having energy, and of being lethargic. The doctor changed her medication. The new one, he said, wouldn't affect the blood pressure. This resulted in her having more energy.

About a week ago, she was working at our new store location, and began to feel pressure on her chest. It was accompanied by sweating and nausea. The next day she was not "better."

Monday (March 23), she again felt pressure, nausea, and was very weak.
We went to the hospital.

After several tests, they discovered that the new heart medication was too large a dosage for her. So they reduced it by 1/2.

Now she has energy again!

Also, we know that she has no significant blockages, no nerve damage, no previous heart attacks, and the heart is functioning properly! We consider that as good news and relief!

During the difficult moments we were praying.
And we know that many of our friends were praying too.

Once again we have learned that God's grace is "sufficient" for us!
When we put all in His capable hands, He uses the medical staff as tools to administer healing.

Love ya,
Bruce
