HI!

The teacher asked, "John, why are you doing your math computations on the floor?"

John said, "Well, Ma'am, you told me to do it without using tables."

"Have faith in God," seems like a simple statement. But let us look at the verb "have." The Greek word is echo, which not only means possess, but infers ability and continuity.

Faith is the "gift of God" planted in each believer at conversion. But faith is a seed, and the intention is that faith should grow.

Faith is "like a grain of mustard seed" which GROWS (Matt. 13:31, Mark 4:31, Luke 13:19).

Each believer is "justified by the faith of God in Jesus Christ." (Gal. 2:16)
We are to "continue in the faith.." (Col. 1:23)
And we are to "fight the good fight of faith" (1Tim. 6:12).
We are to be as Abraham, who was "not weak in faith." (Rom. 4:19)

Faith is the feet of the soul by which we march along life. In the Scripture for today, Christ was using an example of the fig tree. The example was that faith should be fruitful. It should not only possess the leaves, but produce the fruit.

Faith prays. Faith studies. Faith attends. Faith gives. And faith goes.

Praise God for the faith He has given us!
Determine to grow in your faith today!

Love ya,
Bruce
