THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
My Dad is almost 88, and can’t hear it thunder. And if he did, he wouldn’t know what it was.
He called me the other day. You shoulda heard that conversation!
I had brought Mom down to stay with us a couple of days. Dad called to see if she was all right.
I said, “Yes!” ((really loud))
He said, “You GUESS?”
I said, “She’s ALL RIGHT!” ((again real loud))
He said, “She broke her right arm?”
I said, “No, She’s ALL RIGHT!”
He said, “I’ll be down in about an hour!”

20 But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

God created all things with the intention of making Himself known through them. There's never been a time when God has not been "manifest" in all His creation. "To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God ; and the firmament sheweth his handywork." (Ps 19:1)
The chief purpose for God's glory manifested in His creation is to reveal Himself to man. We, as humans, tend to look at the world around us with a tainted vision. We are consumed by our own abilities and powers. We are to concerned with our own honor and prestige. Therefore, God has put in our sight, those things which reveal our need of Him.
The natural result of sin is to bring us down from our self-made pedestals. When that happens we are introduced to the glory of God, and to the wonder that He actually cares for us and wants to save us.
You also, Christian, are created of God "in Christ" to reveal His glory to others.
God regenerated the person within you when you surrendered to Him as Lord of your life.
2 Cor 5:17 says, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." You are different from before. You have been given His Holy Spirit, Who "teaches" you and helps you to recall the things He has taught you (John 14:26).
And, today, when you feel the reproach of sin through trouble, poverty, bereavement, and/or other things, you have and know the POWER of God IN you. There is consolation in knowing that you soon will be delivered from all difficulty, transformed into the image of Christ, and transported to His eternal heaven.
You are the "crown" of God's creation; the ultimate model of His love.
Hear what He says.
Speak to reveal His glory.
Love ya,
Bruce
