THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

<><><><><>

A pastor and his wife were driving to visit Grandma and Grandpa for Christmas. Their daughter Rachel asked the inevitable question, "Are we almost there?"

The father said, "No, honey, we're still 150 miles away."

The daughter asked, "How LONG is that?"

Dad said, "That's about 3 hours honey."

Rachel asked, "Mom. Is that as long as one of Dad's sermons?"

2 Cor 6:2
2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
(KJV)

The philosophy of the majority of the population is "heaven can wait until I am ready....heaven can waith until I make my fortune.....heaven can wait until I make myself good enough....heaven can wait until....." whatever suits their fancy.

The people of Noah's day thought they could wait. (Matthew 24:38-39)
The guests invited to the marriage of the king's son thought they could wait. (Matthew 22)
King Agrippa thought he could wait until a more "convenient time." (Acts 24:25)

But the Bible says, "NOW is the accepted time." In fact James says, "..ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." (James 4:14)

God calls to lost people to be saved today.
God calls to lost people through the church today.

Let us see the urgency of the matter, and be responsive to God. Let us call the lost TODAY!!

Heaven CANNOT wait!

Love ya,

God's grace is evident today; but tomorrow His grace may cease.
