THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

During an episode in the ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW, Andy Taylor asked Aunt Bee to come a live with him and his son Opie. Surprisingly, Opie was not to pleased with the arrangement. Andy tried to help the situation along by getting Aunt Bee to go fishing and frog-catching with Opie. Aunt Bee failed at that, and Andy convinced her to try playing football with Opie - which also failed.
Finally, one night after Opie had gone to bed, Andy told Aunt Bee it just wasn't going to work. The next morning, Andy is taking Aunt Bee to the bus station, and Aunt Bee was crying. Opie heard it, and guessed she was leaving. He ran downstairs and exclaimed, "We can't let her go, Pa, she NEEDS us. She can't even catch frogs, take fish off the hook, or throw a football. We've got to take care of her, or she'll never make it!"

Lost in sin, defenseless against the devil, and helpless to save myself, describes my life before Jesus saved me.
But the grace of God called me, and brought me to the cross of Christ. There, God convicted my soul of sinfulness which showed that I was guilty of the blood of Christ.
But when I begged Him to forgive me, that same blood of which I was guilty washed me, and made me clean!
Then He sanctified me, through a personal relationship with Him, and caused me to begin living in a way that pleases Him instead of myself. He set the sinner aside for His own personal use.
And best of all, Christ has justified me. He bought me with His precious blood, adopted me, and owns me as His son.
Praise God! I was a lost sinner, but now I'm a saved sinner!
If you have been to the cross of Christ and surrendered to become what He wants, then you have been: washed, sanctified, and are justified in His sight.
