THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
An elderly preacher was taking a walk in the neighborhood one wintry morning.
He slipped on the icy sidewalk and fell into a bank of snow.
Though the snow was soft, his hip sorta hurt, and he was struggling to get up.
Just then, a little girl in a fur coat came to him.
She extended her hand and said, "Here, Sir. I'll help you up."
He smiled at her and said, "Thank you, but I'm afraid you're too small."
She replied, "Oh. I've helped my daddy up several times when he was drunker than you!"

Eccl 7:8
Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.

The caterpillar must weave his cocoon and wait to become a butterfly.
The lump of coal must endure tremendous heat before becoming a diamond.
Jesus was "despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief:"
(Isaiah 53:3), before He entered heaven's glory.
And we, my Christian friends, must struggle daily in this life before we can join our Lord.
"...because as he is, so are we in this world." (1 John 4:17)
"Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is."
(1 John 3:2)
Christianity, in this world, is only "the beginning thereof!"
The "end" is BETTER!
"Meditate upon these things...." (1 Tim 4:15)
Perhaps they will help you "up" today!
Love ya,
