A highway patrolman noticed a truck going up the mountain in Tennesee. The driver would get out and bang on the sides of the truck every few minutes.
The patrolman stopped the truck to inquire why. The driver said, "Well, to tell you the truth, this is an OLD truck. The motor will only pull 30 tons. I have 60 tons of chickens on board. So I stop to bang on the sides of the truck and keep half of 'em FLYING!"

God is able! He is able to do so much more than we can imagine.
God is able to do more than we can comprehend in us and through us!
Before your parents knew you - God knew you.
Before you started school - God prepared you.
Before you knew Him - God came looking for you.
Before you even thought of facing the difficulty you have right now - God was working in you!
We spend far too much time trying to figure out how we are going to handle life. The sin of self-pride, the temptations of worldliness, and the deception of the "deceiver" constantly work against us.
But our God, Who created night and day, wants to work in us and through us.
He is the same God that spoke the universe into being.
He is the same God that healed lepers with His Word.
He's the same God that called a dead man from the tomb - by His Word!
Don't let life drag down the power of your motor. Keep praising Christ, and keep focused on living by HIS power in you. Then His power will work through you!
