THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

Ann & I were on vacation last week. As we were driving through one of our neighboring states, we noticed a sign. Made us laugh at what some people will name things.
The sign read: "TOAD SUCK PARK."

Jesus has HONORABLE NAMES: Christ, Messiah, Savior, Lord, God the Son, and many more.
He is WONDERFUL! The Hebrew word means "miracle." It IS a miracle that God would come in flesh to die on a cross for our sakes.
He is a wonderful COUNSELOR! He solves our problems. And one day, He will solve all the problems of the world.
He is the MIGHTY GOD! Creator (Hebrews 1:1-3), and eternal LORD! This same term is applied to Yahweh in the Old Testament (see Deuteronomy 10:17, Jeremiah 32:18).
He is the EVERLASTING FATHER! He is the Father of eternity, granting salvation and securing it for all those who come repentantly to Him.
He is the PRINCE OF PEACE! Jesus brings peace to the soul. He makes us whole and supplies all our needs. And the "peace that passes all understanding" comes from Jesus through faith in Him (Philippians 4:7).
What HONORABLE NAMES our Lord Jesus has! And what honorable work He performs for our sakes!
