It's a difficult thing to prepare for and await a tornado.
The birds stop singing, the cattle huddle together.
The sun hides behind the blackness of the sky.
Soon, the trees begin to twist, the wind breaking even the large ones.
Houses are shattered and blown away.
But a tornado is nothing compared to the wrath of God at the judgment of men!
Praise God today Christian!
For you are "not appointed .. to wrath!"
You, who believe and have surrendered to Jesus, have already obtained "salvation" through Him! You are saved from "the wrath to come!" (Matt. 3:7, 1Thess. 1:10)
You, Christian, know that God's wrath is coming soon upon all who refuse Christ.
But you also know that you are "appointed" to MISS IT! To be saved FROM it!!
Therefore, you can live (even in a troubled world) with PEACE in your heart.
The "tornados of life" serve only to remind you that whether you live or die, your place is IN Christ Jesus! He withstood the "wrath of God" in your place!
Your spiritual "house" has been cleaned by Christ.
Exhibit your salvation today.
Let others see peace in you, by the indwelling presence of Christ.
Love ya,
Bruce
