10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

For the believer, all the offices of Christ are held for our benefit.
And it is He Who makes us complete.
Because of sin, we are incomplete -- without God.
But through Christ, we are made complete -- with God.
Jesus is our Creator, Redeemer, Priest and Teacher.
He is the "Rod" of God's correction, our Provider, Protector and Friend.
He is the "Vine" through which we receive God's Presence and Power.
He is the Shepherd Who provides our care and guidance.
All of these, and more, are for our benefit to make us complete before God. Jesus' honor as Son of God is employed for our justification. His power as Son of God is used for our defense.
When Jesus became a man, He did it for our sake. Through surrender to Him as Lord, He imputes unto us His impeccable character, His eternal devotion, and His meritorious service.
He has granted us the heavenly inheritance that was purchased by the labor of His life. His love, demonstrated through the cross, becomes "our banner over us." His unblemished perfection, demonstrated by His resurrection, is presented to God on our behalf.
Today, our Lord Jesus, lives eternally to "make intercession" on behalf of those "who come to Him." (Hebrews 7:25) While the ole devil is constantly accusing us, Christ is constantly presenting us as His: unblemished, without spot or wrinkle, and perfect in His glory!
Dear believer, Christ is your inexhaustible treasure!
Speak to Him today!
Love ya,
Bruce
