THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

A woman customer called the computer help desk saying she had a problem with her printer.

Tech support: Are you running it under windows?

Customer: "No, my desk is next to the door, but that is a good point. The man sitting in the cubicle next to me is under a window, and his printer is working fine."

John 15:4
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

THOUGHT_________________________________________________________

It doesn't matter whether your cubicle is near the door or the window.
It doesn't matter if your home is downtown or out of town.

What does matter is that you "Abide" in Jesus!

The word "Abide" gives a sense of remaining, dwelling, residing, continuing.

Jesus is the "Vine," we are the "branches." We must draw our strength from Him in order to "bear fruit."

Abiding in Christ is not a matter of our position in earth, it is a matter of our volition in the heart. It is a conscious decision to continue knowing His presence, comfort and strength.

Don't be content with an interview now and then.
Strive to keep His company continually.

We are the printers, Jesus is the Computer.
Remember, your printer can only output from the Computer's input!

Love ya,
Bruce
