THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Mr. Brown was an aged man who lived in an apartment.
At Christmas, someone in the next apartment gave their son a drum.
He beat that drum incessantly day and night.
One day, Mr. Brown saw the young boy outside.
He quietly gave the young boy a pocket knife, and asked,
"Son, do you know what's on the INSIDE of that drum?"

Ephraim was a child of God.
However, his descendents had become "mixed" with the people of the world.
Their concern for the things of the world was as great as their concern for the things of God.
Therefore, God called them "a cake not turned."
Have you ever tasted a pancake that wasn't well cooked on both sides?
Some appear "well-done" in and around others.
But, they are only "half-baked" when alone.
Are you thorough in personal Bible study and prayer?
What's on the INSIDE of your drum?
God wants us to have a genuine, sincere personal relationship with Him.
Anything else tastes "half-baked" to Him!
Love ya,
Bruce
