THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Once, at a Christmas party, my wife and I were introduced to a couple visiting our church.
I decided to remember their names by associating them with a children's story.
When they left, I said, "Thanks for visiting with us. Remember to climb all the way back up the hill."
They smiled graciously and left.
My wife asked, "Why did you say that?"
I replied, "Jack and Jill - up the hill, remember?"
She said, "But, Honey, their names are DICK and JANE!"

Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.

While we, on earth, have problems remembering, our Great Lord does not!
He remembers ALL about us!
David thought about this, and wrote: "For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb." (Psalm 139:13)
God KNOWS us.
And, God REMEMBERS us!
You, my Christian friend, are NEVER away from the center of Jesus' heart.
Your name is written in His hand and engraved in His side.
Your name is written in His book in heaven.
Jesus longs to hear from His children in prayer.
He longs to see His children studiously learning from the Bible.
He longs to see us busy about His work through the church.
Oh, Lord help me in this day to show that "I remember Thee!"
Love ya,
Bruce
