DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

(((Thanks to my "cuz" Ginger for this one.)))

A lady received a call at work. Her daughter was very ill and she needed to stop by the pharmacy and bring home some medicine quickly.

She hurried to the pharmacy, picked up the medicine, but when she went back to the car, she had locked the keys inside! So she went into the pharmacy to see if someone could help. The clerk said she might be able to get into the car with a coat hanger.

She went back outside and found an old coat hanger on the ground. She knew NOTHING about this kind of thing, and stopped to say a prayer. "Oh, Lord PLEASE help me get this car open and get home quickly!"

Just then an old car drove up, and a bearded man with a biker skull cap got out. "Can I help ya lady," he asked. She said, "Yes, please!" But she was thinking in her heart, "Lord, are you SURE this man will help?"

The man got the car open in a jiffy, and she said, "THANK YOU LORD! and thank YOU sir! You are a very nice man!" He said, "Well, I just got out of prison for car theft." The lady said, "Thank You, Lord for sending me a PROFESSIONAL!"

Phil 4:19
19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
(KJV)

God OWNS everything. He created all there is, and is the owner of all things, and people. He is also the Orchestrator of all time and events.

Everything is under the rulership of Jesus Christ, by Whom God created all things (Hebrews 1:2). Our Lord, Jesus is also appointed the "Heir" of all things (Hebrews 1:3).

If we are "IN" Christ Jesus, having surrendered our lives to Him, He can supply all our need! THE Agent of God's mercy and grace is Christ Jesus Himself.

Quick prayers, based upon our need, are often our most sincere prayers. And God answers them according to His mercy, and His "riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

Let us remember to acknowledge God's active participation in every part of our everyday life. May we realize that our Lord, Jesus has access to ALL things, and is certainly interested in supplying our needs.

Love ya,
Bruce
