THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Mom was driving her 10-year-old son to school.
The traffic was very heavy.
After awhile, the son asked, "Mom. Why is it the 'idiots' all come out when Dad is driving?"

Titus 2:7-8
7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

Once General Robert E. Lee, the Confederate officer during the American Civil War, was meeting with some officers for consideration of promotions.
Jefferson Davis asked him what he thought of a certain officer in the army, as he had an important place he wanted filled by a trustworthy man.
Lee gave the officer an excellent recommendation, and he was immediately promoted to the position.
Later, some of Lee's friends told him that particular officer had said some very bitter things against him, and were surprised at the General's recommendation.
General Lee replied, "I was not asked for the officer's opinion of me, but my opinion of him."
Only a noble heart could prompt such action.
In the Bible we are told to love our enemies.
But in our everyday life we often only love those who love us.
Love ya,
