THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
A man and his wife reached a pinnacle in their lives.
Their children threw a big party celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.
A reporter came to cover the story.
He asked the lady, "What kind of problems have you had in your marriage?"
The lady said, "Well, actually, there have only been two problems: my husband, and the fire."
The reporter asked, "Ma'am would you explain that: your husband and the fire?"
The lady said, "Well, when I paid too much attention to one, the other went out!"

Ps 73:22-23
22 So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.

It takes a miracle of God to save us from our foolishness, and bring us into the glorious love of Christ.
There is also a constant miracle God works for those who have surrendered to Christ. He is "continually" with us, and is holding us by His right hand! Were it not so, we could not cling to Him!
Think of the times when you doubted God, yet He was faithful to you.
Think of the times He allowed affliction in your life, to help you grow and mature, and you cried "WHY?"
Think of the times you submitted to sin because of its pleasure, but God stayed with you, convicted you, and brought you back into His personal care.
Yes, we are indeed "foolish" and "ignorant" before our infinite God!
We fail to realize, when facing trouble, that He is working "all things together for good" in our lives.
And, were it not for His gift of faith in our souls, we would not be able to cling to Him! Phil 2:13 says, "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure."
Praise God today for His faithfulness, and for His gift of faith through Christ Jesus, our Lord!
Focus upon improving your relationship with Him. Keep the "fire" of His warming love burning, and He will not go out!
Love ya,
Bruce
