Can you imagine that when the brothers were introduced to Joseph, they didn't KNOW him?
Can you imagine how that made Joseph feel? Forgotten?
Let's put that in another perspective. Can you imagine how Jesus feels when people don't KNOW Him?
Can you imagine the Creator being forgotten?
Can you imagine how Jesus felt on the cross? David perhaps explained it best: "I looked on my right hand, and beheld , but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul." (Ps 142:4)
He knew us before the world was created. He knew our SIN before we came into physical life.
But He LOVED us enough to come and die for us!
He loved us enough to be our "Advocate" and plead for our forgiveness of a debt we couldn't pay.
He loved us enough to be our "Lamb of God" and substitute for the wrath we deserved.
How well have we known, or do we know our CHRIST?
Do we TOTALLY trust Him?
Do we pay attention to His Word?
Do we honor Him with prayer?
Do we acknowledge Him in all our conversations?
Get to KNOW Him so you can TELL about Him!
