THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
<><><><><>
Two brothers were partners in the coal business. One of them went to a revival meeting in the local church and got saved. He was sincerely excited about Jesus in his life, and invited his brother to come and be saved also.
The other brother said, "If I get saved too, who will weigh the coal?"
And that's the truth if I ever told one!

Rom 8:16
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
(KJV)

There is no doubt that we sometimes doubt! Have you ever had a thought similar to this? "Now, if you were really a Christian, you wouldn't do something like THAT!"
Don't lie to yourself now. Sure you have. The devil attacks your mind at times, and causes that question to appear. There's no doubt that we sometimes doubt.
But our doubts of salvation should only be momentary and not long-lasting! Because God's Holy Spirit witnesses with our spirit that we ARE or are NOT a child of God.
Theologically, it is impossible for a Christian to have long-lasting doubts about whether he is saved.
I Jn 5:13
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
(KJV)
John 1:12
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
(KJV)
John 20:31
31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
(KJV)
If you have momentary doubts of salvation, confess them to God and He will assure you of the washing of Christ's blood and the sealing of His Holy Spirit.
If you have long-lasting doubts of salvation, confess it to God and get things settled with Him today. Because God wants you to know and be sure of your salvation.
Love ya,
