THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
The new man on the road crew was concerned.
He went to the supervisor and asked, "When do I get a shovel?"
The supervisor said, "You're too new. Why are you so concerned about a shovel?"
The new man said, "Well, everybody else has something to LEAN ON!"

The priest was actually to lean heavily on the lamb's head.
This indicated the very essence of faith.
Jesus is the sin-bearer and the deliverer.
We must learn to:
*lean heavily on Jesus to forgive us,
*to place us before the Throne of God as spotless in His own garment of rigteousness,
*lean heavily on Jesus to support us with encouragement and comfort,
*lean heavily on Jesus to deliver us through all our difficulties.
We have to learn to lean, or we'll fall!
LEARNING TO LEAN
The joy I can’t explain fills my heart,
Since the day I made Jesus my King;
His blessed Holy Spirit is leading my way,
He’s teaching and I’m learning to lean.
There's glorious vict'ry each day now for me,
Since I found His peace so serene;
He helps me with each task, if only I'll ask;
Ev'ry day now I'm learning to lean.
Chorus
I’m learning to lean, learning to lean,
Learning to lean on Jesus.
Finding more power than I’d ever dreamed,
I’m learning to lean on Jesus.
