THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Dad was quite surprised when he walked into the back yard and saw his seven-year-old daughter brushing the dog's teeth with HIS toothbrush!
Immediately she said, "Don't worry Dad. I always wash it out before I put it back!"

John 19:16
Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away.

Jesus was "led ... away" to become our "scapegoat."
According to Leviticus 16:21, the high priest was to confess the sins of Israel over the "scapegoat." That goat was then released into the wilderness, that it might bear away the sins of the people.
Surely the sins of Israel were confessed by the high priest on that gruesome day when Jesus was crucified. For, according to John 19:6, the "chief priests" had cried out "Crucify Him!" And they had stated, "We have no king but Caesar!"
Little did they know that when Jesus was "led...away" to be crucified, they were setting Him FREE!
Death could not hold the King of kings and Lord of lords!
He arose triumphant over the sins of the world which had been laid upon Him!
"This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief." (1 Tim 1:15)
O, Lord Jesus, thank you for carrying away my sin!
