THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

I guess the editor of the newspaper article above did not really check the headline for meaning.
Sometimes I wonder if Christians really check the Bible for meaning.
John was an humble man who lived his life for God. The Bible tells us that he dressed very simply and his diet was also ver simple (See Matthe 3).
But John was a man who KNEW who he was.
He was a BELIEVER in Jesus Christ.
John knew that Jesus was the long-awaited MESSIAH. He knew that the Bible (Old Testament) said that MESSIAH was none other than the LORD JEHOVAH Himself (See Isaiah 3:11, 60:16).
And John knew that as a BELIEVER in Christ, he was called to point out the TRUTH!
He was called to point out JESUS!
For our lives to have meaning, we need to discover the meaning of God's Word.
Acts 1:8 says, "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me....."
Matthew 28:19 says, "Go ye therefore and teach all nations......"
As Christians, our lives have meaning when we point out the TRUTH!
Our lives have meaning when we point out JESUS!
